Dry cleaning refers to the cleaning of textiles using specific organic liquids. The advantage of dry cleaning over wet washing is that grease and oil dissolve in the dry cleaning liquid. Additionally, natural fiber materials such as cotton, linen, silk, and wool swell less in the cleaning fluid during dry cleaning, which minimizes shrinkage and shape distortion compared to wet washing.
